Dîner Rouge at Bistro Thierry
The ninth annual Dîner Rouge was a great success, raising more than $65,000 to support people living with cancer and their families. Hosted by popular Toorak restaurant Bistro Thierry, Dîner Rouge has become a much-anticipated event in Fight Cancer Foundation's annual calendar and has raised over $440,000 since 2009.
Guests were treated to a delectable eight course French degustation menu with expertly matched wines. The team at Bistro Thierry delivered outstanding service throughout the night, ensuring a great time was had by all.
The live auction presented the perfect opportunity for guests to bid on an array of auction items, with all proceeds benefitting Fight Cancer Foundation’s support programs.
A special thanks to Thierry Cornevin and his team at Bistro Thierry who, for the past nine years, have closed their Toorak restaurant on a popular Saturday evening and provided the takings from the busiest night of the week to Fight Cancer Foundation.
Thierry says "I understand that cancer touches all of us at some time. I am committed to supporting Fight Cancer Foundation in providing care, treatment and support for cancer patients and their families and also their hard work in funding research into finding a cure".
We are extremely grateful to Bistro Thierry’s suppliers, who donate all produce and matching wines for the evening. Their generosity ensures that 100% of funds raised on the evening and through ticket sales are donated to Fight Cancer Foundation.
