Face of Hope: Frogmore Creek
Frogmore Creek began supporting Fight Cancer Foundation since 2014 by hosting and sponsoring The Little Red Luncheon - Fight Cancer Foundation's signature fundraising event in Tasmania.
Since then, the team at Frogmore Creek have continued to increase their level of support of Fight Cancer Foundation by hosting further events, taking part in fun-runs and forming an important part of our Tasmanian Events Committee.
How long have you been supporting Fight Cancer Foundation?
We have been supporting Fight Cancer Foundation's John Opie House since early 2014 when we hosted our first The Little Red Luncheon - the signature fundraising event in Hobart. We will be hosting The Little Red Luncheon for the fifth year in a row on Friday 23 March, and are excited to be a platinum sponsor again.
Why did you choose to support Fight Cancer Foundation?
We chose to support Fight Cancer Foundation for two reasons:
- Cancer is a cause that is quite dear to our hearts and has affected all of us in one way or another.
- We are also passionate about supporting our local communities and our fellow Tasmanians. John Opie House was the perfect match for us as it provides us with the opportunity to support our fellow Tasmanians, specifically those who have been affected by cancer.
What benefits does supporting Fight Cancer Foundation have for the Frogmore Creek team?
There are many benefits for our team in fundraising for a worthy cause. It provides engagement with our local communities as well as a sense of responsibility to assist those in need. It also creates a great comradery and general feeling of goodwill amongst our team.
