Rotary Club of Kew visit BMDI Rotary House
Fight Cancer Foundation and the Rotary Club of Kew have a long history of working together to give hope and save lives of people living with cancer.
Over the past 25 years, Rotary Club of Kew has partnered with Fight Cancer Foundation to help accomplish significant projects such as the Rotary Bone Marrow Research Centre at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and BMDI Rotary House in North Melbourne.
We recently welcomed 20 members to BMDI Rotary House to attend a special tour lead by our Managing Director Eric Wright.
For many of the attendees it was their first time visiting the facility and provided a great opportunity for them to see the success of their past fundraising efforts.
“With my son in law recently going through a bone marrow transplant it was great to see behind the scenes of a support service like this,” said Rotary Club of Kew President Elect and Vocational Director Bob Slater.
The visit also provided the members of Rotary Club of Kew with a chance to catch up on Fight Cancer Foundation’s current projects and plans for the coming years.
