Red Ball Adelaide supports South Australian kids with cancer
Much-loved Channel 7 reporter and weatherman, Tim Noonan hosted the inaugural Red Ball Adelaide at the Adelaide Town Hall on Saturday 21 May.
he building was awash with red lighting, as was the stunning Auditorium, where 270 guests were treated to entertainment by The Voice winner, Harrison Craig, Sidonie Henbest, Entertainment Adelaide, Aurora Strings, the Brass Band Ensemble from Marion City Band Inc., the City of Onkaparinga Pipe Band plus a high-energy dance routine from The Talent Company.
High profile Adelaide personalities such as Kate Anderson from So It Goes The Label, Jaimie Sortino, SA reality television show contestants Lauren and Carmine, Glam Adelaide and The Adelaidian walked the red carpet at the event to show their support.
We were honoured to have His Excellency the Honourable Hieu Van Le AO address guests at this inaugural event, and to the Hospital School Principal, Margot McDougall for sharing Tayla’s story and the importance of the Back on Track education program to South Australian children with cancer.
The exciting live auction, run by Bronte Manuel from Toop & Toop, silent auction and raffle meant that everyone had a chance to take home wonderful items, while supporting South Australian children with cancer.
