Fight Cancer Foundation provides practical and emotional support for people with cancer and their families. Our accommodation centres in Albury and Melbourne allow regional families to stay together while receiving life-saving treatment. Community generosity powers our programs, including annual appeals, regular giving and other fundraising initiatives, including Footy Colours Day.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Donor Relations Coordinator to lead our donor appeals, bequest program, regular giving, and grants. You’ll craft compelling communications, manage donor data, and help deepen supporter engagement through well-executed campaigns and stewardship.
You’ll be part of a small, fast-paced and collaborative team where your initiative, creativity, and strategic thinking will be highly valued. This is a hands-on role with plenty of opportunity to shape key fundraising programs for Fight Cancer Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, implement and measure four annual fundraising appeals from end to end
- Refresh and lead the Bequest Program and Regular Giving strategy
- Identify grant opportunities and oversee grant application processes
- Manage donor data, CRM segmentation (Donman or equivalent), and reporting
- Oversee donation processing and ensure timely, personalised acknowledgements
- Write donor-centric copy for appeals, newsletters, and donor journeys
- Supervise a part-time admin support team member
- Support broader fundraising efforts including Footy Colours Day
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in fundraising, donor development, or direct marketing
- Proven success in delivering donor communications and appeals
- Excellent storytelling and copywriting skills
- CRM experience (Donman or similar) and strong data segmentation skills
- Familiarity with donation processing and reconciliation
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Knowledge of Raisely, Funraisin, or community fundraising is a plus
