About Fight Cancer Foundation
Since 1989, Fight Cancer Foundation has provided life-changing support for people living with cancer and their families. Through our accommodation centres in Melbourne and Albury, we offer a home-away-from-home for patients who must travel long distances for treatment. Our services are powered by generous community support through fundraising campaigns and our iconic Footy Colours Day.
About the Role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Digital Communications Coordinator to lead the digital storytelling and supporter engagement across Fight Cancer Foundation’s campaigns — including Footy Colours Day and regular fundraising appeals.
You’ll take ownership of our digital content, managing email marketing, website updates, social media, and digital campaign analytics. You’ll help shape how we connect with thousands of supporters by building meaningful journeys and delivering compelling, emotionally engaging content.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage email marketing and automation strategies
- Write and repurpose digital content across EDMs, blogs, web, and social platforms
- Manage website updates (WordPress) and SEO optimisation
- Oversee social media content creation and community engagement
- Track performance metrics, prepare reports, and advise on campaign strategy
- Support Footy Colours Day and other fundraising campaigns
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, communications or fundraising
- Strong content creation and copywriting skills
- Proficient in Campaign Monitor, WordPress, Meta Business Suite, and Google Analytics (GA4)
- Hands-on experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
- Highly organised, collaborative, and responsive
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector is desirable
