Farewell Eric - Welcome Cara
After 25 years with Fight Cancer Foundation, we say a fond farewell to Managing Director, Eric Wright.
During his tenure, Eric established and grew our accommodation and education programs that significantly improved treatment outcomes for Australians children and families impacted by cancer.
We wish him well in his retirement and travels in 2023 and beyond.
As of March 2023, Cara Davey (as CEO (Acting)) will lead Fight Cancer Foundation to ensure children and families stay together when impacted by cancer treatments.
Cara has worked in the fields of strategy, branding, marketing and design across Europe, Asia, North America and Australia, and has held leadership and key strategic positions at organisations such as Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation, Make-A-Wish Australia, Breast Cancer Network Australia, Cancer Council Victoria and Austin Health (Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre).
Cara’s strategic and visionary approach, coupled with her keen focus on supporters will be key in helping reimagine the next chapter of Fight Cancer Foundation.
