Footy Colours Day fun at Malvern Central School
Colour, fun and footy – best describes Malvern Central School’s recent Footy Colours Day celebration!
Earlier this month, we had the pleasure of attending Malvern Central’s Footy Colours Day event and joining in the day’s festivities.
Championed by teacher Chelsea Lewis, Malvern Central has been an avid supporter of Footy Colours Day since 2014, raising more than $54,000 over the past five years!
Speaking to Chelsea, the school’s Footy Colours Day event began as a gold coin donation and simply grew bigger each year. Chelsea explains incorporating additional activities such as face painting, a sausage sizzle and colouring-in competition makes the event a wonderful fun-filled day the whole school community loves.
Thanks so much to Chelsea, and all the kids, parents and teachers at Malvern Central School for being such incredible supporters of Footy Colours Day!
